Itinerary
This private vacation tour starts with your driver picking you up from your hotel in Marrakech and taking you to the verdant oasis of Dades Gorge. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains at the summit of Tizi n Tichka Pass. Along the way, see Berber life in old adobe villages and sweeping vistas. We head to Ouarzazate, named the “Hollywood of Africa,” thanks to international movies. Visit Taourirt Kasbah before continuing to Skoura palm grove and the town of roses, Kelaa Mgouna. We will travel through colourful Berber villages before arriving at Dades Gorge. Dinner and night in the hotel.
After breakfast in your hotel, we will continue to Tinghir through the Dades Valley and head to Todra Gorge for lunch in a restaurant in the heart of the canyons. If you are interested in a trek, hike for an hour in the valley. In the afternoon, we head to Erfoud via Tinjedad with its ancient underground irrigation system full of fossils before arriving at the dunes of Merzouga by Erg Chebbi. After a short rest, ride camels directly to the oasis where you will enjoy dinner with entertainment under the stars & spend the night in a nomad tent.
Watch the sunrise and return by camel to the hotel before departing for Rissani and Erfoud. We will continue to Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves and will have lunch along the way. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains with their dramatic views and arrive in Marrakech in the early evening.
