How a customized trip works
If none of our listed tours quite fits, tell us what you want and we will build a route around it. A customized trip can start from one of our standard itineraries (add a night in the dunes, drop a day of driving, swap the Atlas for the coast) or from a blank page. Send us your dates, your group size, the pace you like and anything you would rather avoid, and we will come back with a proposed route and a quote.
We are not tied to the usual tourist circuit. From our base in the Draa Valley we can plan routes through quiet valleys, deep gorges and old villages, along the Atlantic coast and its fishing ports, or through the markets of the imperial cities. The balance between wild places and busy ones is yours to set.
What a trip includes (hotels, meals, vehicle, camp nights) depends on the route you choose, and we spell it all out in your quote before you book.
Family holidays with kids: tell us the ages of your children and we will plan shorter drives and days with something active in them.
Dinner in a Berber-style tent
Assisted travel: if anyone in your group has limited mobility or a special diet, tell us before we plan the route so that we can arrange what is needed.
Arts and crafts: visits to artisans in city souks and to village cooperatives where rugs, pottery and other crafts are made.
Architecture and archaeology: kasbahs and mud-brick villages, riads and palaces, and UNESCO-listed sites such as Ait Ben Haddou.
Souks and cities: Marrakech and Fes at your own pace, with plenty of time for the markets.
Food and cooking: cooking classes, market visits and meals built around Moroccan cuisine.
