Booking and cancellation
How booking works with Amazing Morocco: what an enquiry is, what is in your written quote and what to have in writing before you confirm a trip.
This page explains how booking and cancellation work with Amazing Morocco, in plain words. The amounts, the payment dates and the change and cancellation terms for your own trip are agreed with you in writing before you confirm, so please read your quote carefully and ask us about anything that is unclear.
How booking works
- Send an enquiry. Use the quote form to tell us your dates, group size and what you would like to see. A rough idea is enough.
- We reply with a route and a written quote. The route comes from one of our listed tours or is built for you as a customized trip. The quote is for your group and lists what is and is not included.
- Adjust it. Ask for changes as often as you like before you decide.
- You decide. A trip is booked when you accept a quote and we confirm it to you in writing.
An enquiry is not a booking
Nothing is charged by the enquiry form, and no payment is taken on this website. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to anything.
What your quote tells you
Because every trip is private and the price depends on your dates, the size of your group, the route and where you sleep, we quote each trip individually rather than publishing a fixed price. The quote lists what is included (hotels, meals, vehicle, camp nights) and what is not, so you know what to budget for before you book. Some tours show a starting price per person; the final price is confirmed in writing.
Payment
Your quote says how much is due, when and how to pay it. We do not take payments through this website.
If you need to change or cancel
Tell us as early as you can, by email or phone, so that we can adjust the arrangements. Ask us for the change and cancellation terms for your trip in writing before you confirm it, and we will send them with your quote.
Weather, roads and safety
Mountain weather can change plans, and your guide may suggest a different route on the day. On the Toubkal treks the summit is never guaranteed, because the weather and the group’s pace decide it, and from about November to April snow and ice can change the plan, so tell us your dates. If weather, a road closure or safety makes a planned route unwise, your guide will tell you and propose an alternative.
Travel insurance
Travel insurance is not included in our tours. Arrange cover before you travel, and for any trek make sure the policy covers trekking at altitude.
Questions
