4 Day Toubkal Trek from Imlil starts with a day in the Azzaden Valley before the climb. You cross the Tizi Mzik pass on day 1, reach the Toubkal Refuge on day 2 and go for the summit (4,167 m) on day 3.
Approaching the refuge by the Azzaden Valley means a slower gain in height and a walk through remote Berber villages. For the direct route see the 3 day trek; for a loop that includes Lake Ifni see the 5 day trek.

Itinerary
After the drive to Imlil you cross the Tizi Mzik pass on foot and descend into the remote Azzaden Valley, where you sleep in a mountain gite.
The trail climbs steadily to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m). Gaining height gradually helps you get used to the altitude before summit day.
An early start brings you to the summit at 4,167 m, with wide views over the High Atlas. You then walk down to Imlil.
A transfer takes you back to Marrakech and drops you at your riad or hotel.
