3 Day Camel Trek in Erg Chigaga is the short way into the Sahara by camel: a day of driving south, a day of riding into the dunes and a day back to Marrakech.
Erg Chigaga is harder to reach than the Merzouga dunes, so it gets fewer visitors. You sleep in a Berber camp with dinner and traditional music. Want more nights in the dunes? See the 5 day, 7 day and 9 day treks.

The first day is the long drive south. From Marrakech the road runs through Ouarzazate and down the Draa Valley to M'Hamid, the last town before the open desert. You sleep in our own camp, morocco-desert-camp.com.
You climb onto your camel and ride into the Erg Chigaga dunes. The trek ends at a remote Berber camp, where dinner and traditional music are followed by a night under the stars.
Watch the sun rise over the dunes, then ride back to M'Hamid by camel. From there the car takes you back to Marrakech.
