7 Day Camel Trek in Erg Chigaga adds a destination to the dunes: the dry salt flats of Lake Iriqui, reached on day 4 after two days of riding into Erg Chigaga.
You sleep in desert camps from night 2 to night 6 and return on a different line through the dunes, with visits to nomad encampments. For a shorter trip see the 5 day trek; for two more days in the deep desert see the 9 day trek.

Itinerary
A full driving day: Marrakech, Ouarzazate, then the oases of the Draa Valley, ending in M'Hamid. You sleep in our own camp, morocco-desert-camp.com.
Two days on camelback lead you into the Erg Chigaga dunes. Each night is spent in a desert camp.
The trek reaches the dry salt flats of Lake Iriqui, a flat white landscape that looks very different from the dunes around it.
The way back follows a different line through the dune fields, with visits to nomad encampments along the route.
The final drive returns you to Marrakech, with a drop-off at your riad or hotel.
