Our Destinations
5 Day Camel Trek in Erg Chigaga spends two full nights among the dunes. Days 2 and 3 are on camelback, with stops at nomad encampments, and the way back starts at sunrise on day 4.
The extra time means you ride a real distance across the dune field instead of a short out-and-back. If you only have three days, take the 3 day trek; for Lake Iriqui and a longer crossing, see the 7 day and 9 day versions.

Itinerary
The road from Marrakech leads through Ouarzazate and along the palm oases of the Draa Valley to M'Hamid, where the trek begins the next morning. You sleep in our own camp, morocco-desert-camp.com.
The camel trek into Erg Chigaga starts today. By sunset you arrive at the first desert camp.
A full day of trekking takes you further into the dune field, with stops at nomad encampments. The second night is again spent under the stars.
Sunrise over the dunes, then the camels carry you back toward M'Hamid.
The last day is the drive back to Marrakech, ending with a drop-off at your riad or hotel.
